Matt has been with with The Valletta Group for 10 years and has over 13 years of revenue cycle management experience. Matt currently serves Valletta in two capacities. The first is as the Director of Provider Enrollment, where he manages The Valletta Group’s credentialing department. He works directly with clients, insurance enrollment departments, billing platforms, and clearinghouses to ensure Valletta’s providers are always actively enrolled. Matt also serves as the Director of Human Resources. He administers benefits, payroll, procurement, accounts payable, and accounts receivable for Valletta employees.
Before joining Valletta, Matt worked in the billing department of a large practice in the southeastern United States. There he held positions in all areas of the revenue cycle management process, including claim submission, charge entry, payment posting, and provider enrollment. He also served as an administrative assistant to executive senior managers and shareholders. Matt’s experience at Valletta and his previous employer, give him a unique perspective, as someone with extensive insourcing and outsourcing medical billing experience.
